The steam method effects my sphincter.... at 1m 10sec the record starts to buckle under the heat. The filmmaker suggests the buckle drops out as the steam gets towards the label (My second concern, damaging the label with steam) Conversely I have heard several people extoll the virtues of steam. I may try it on some shitty records to see what happens

I have the same steamer that Michael Fremer uses in the clip. Excellent unit for only £14.49 with loads of tools and free postage!
