Suggestions for dac with volume control

Hi

thinking of a dac with volume control to go between airport express and power amp.

something inexpensive, transparant.

With digital /spif for the airport spress.

Will be playong apple lossless.

any ideas?

I use a matrix mini and a modded beresford 7520 for doing just that. Both excellent, though the Matrix will shortly be modded too...
