In case you're interested in MC cartridges in the £550-£650 price range, then have a peek at my review of the Sumiko Blue Point No. 3 that George just uploaded for me. It's definitely one for consideration, and possibly not talked about enough.

FWIW I used HO Sumikos for almost 10 yrs. This was post Linn Carts/AT OC9. Even the original Blue Point was preferable, IMHO, to the OC9 - it was generally more funky which better suited my type of music. This was further improved on by the 2 BPS's I used after.

I did consider the one reviewed but the 2M's I've been using have shown me the importance of a better tip - the improvements have been quite dramatic with each upgrade.

So, I've ordered a Dynavector 10x mk2 Low instead.

My apologies if you think this is a thread crap, it's not mean't to be. The Sumikos are funky monkeys and well worth listening to.
