Sumiko Moonstone moving magnet cartridge for sale.
One owner (me) with an estimated 150hrs max. on clean vinyl.
Excellent condition, cantilever straight etc.
Complete with all packaging, wooden presentation box and big slip on stylus guard.
Very natural, full bodied sounding MM majoring on tone and timbre and spacious soundstage.

£175 posted next day RMSD to UK.

If you’re finding your vinyl a bit tizzy, bright or fatiguing this will be a revelation. I found it to be a big step up in naturalness and timbre from Audio Technica cartridges.

Which AT Carts are you referring to?
The VM95ML and 540ML, great cartridges, I liked both of them, punchy and fast but after having the Sumiko in for a while going back to the AT was impossible for me. Initially impressive but after about half a song I didn’t want to listen to it anymore, just sounds thrown at you. The Moonstone is not immediately impressive, it beguiles you subtly until you realise it’s the more natural, realistic presentation IMO.
Of course personal taste and system dependent.
