The other Sunday when this thread was started, it was a bit frantic here chez-Jules. But today..... chores done, laundry done, sun is out, doors are open, dogs are snoozing contentedly, Classic FM on the wireless, cup of coffee and the 'Wam. Bliss!
Great to have you around mate, we all enjoyed it . Eat the cheese cake now! I had some for breakfast, I’m sure @Maverick would have approved. The morning after the night before for me. Sitting reminiscing last nights topics with @freefallrob and his ace family. Debating when might be a safe time to visit the doggy bag cheesecake. All in all content and relaxed. For now!
Strange Sunday indeed. I will be raising a glass or two to Paul this evening also.Strange Sunday . Have touched base with a few wammers re @Maverick . Family swinging by today for a roast . I have a decent bottle of red to be opened to toast him as he would expect that and and while I cook I will play Springsteen one of his faves.
What’s happened to @Maverick? Nothing seems to have been posted on the Wam. Edit to say that I have just seen the sad news in the Pub Car Park (that I never visit). So sad I was chatting to him the other day.Strange Sunday . Have touched base with a few wammers re @Maverick . Family swinging by today for a roast . I have a decent bottle of red to be opened to toast him as he would expect that and and while I cook I will play Springsteen one of his faves.
