Hi, currently I use a topping d30pro a30pro stack with sundaras but im looking to change these out in favour of a much higher end system in the coming months. Ive already replaced the a30pro with a cayin iha-6 but im very stuck on both dac and headphone ideas (unable to test much in person unfortunately).
Ive seen numerous DAC options online such as the rme adi-2 dac, bifrost 2 and chord qutest (500-1200usd budget) but im open to any other ideas people have that might match well with the rest of the system(just need to be able to output both RCA and XLR for speaker and headphone systems). As for headphones being the most beneficial piece ive considered a wide range of items such as the edition XS, various offerings from LCD in the 1000usd range, arya or even if possible some used he1k or similar.
I listen to a lot of pop music but appreciate pieces within all genres and listen to it currently on my elac dbr62 speakers with cyrus one amp (not satisfied with the headphone system). Any suggestions greatly appreciated thank you.
