systems evaluation...open door at home (Somerset)

Hi chaps, some of you may have seen my thread in the General section with a system dilemma I've recently got myself into (i.e getting too bloody tempted by beautiful equipment then not being able to decide which to keep).

Well, I'm having an open door few hours for anyone interested to join me in giving me their opinion. I'll be playing my original system of Wadia 8/15, SBT, Krell pre-power into Usher 8571......then also Emille KI-40L valve integrated amp (on home demo)....Wilson Sophias.....Zingali Zero Diecis (arriving next week).

I'm basically going to chop and change this combination and put it through its paces with vocal/electronic music, fairly loud, to see which is best. I've hung onto the Emille and Wilsons for a while already but not had the time or room to really A/B properly, so I'll go to town when the Zingalis arrive and decide which to put up for sale on the day (I'm only keeping one system!).

So, it might be an idea for anyone vaguely interested in wanting any of the above equipment to get a chance for a demo.

I've got room for about 6 or 7, but keep in mind I need to evaluate this using the music I mostly listen to which is some vocal, some rock, but mostly electronic (think Goldfrapp, London Grammar, Oceanlab).

I've got Sunday 20th Oct free all day, and Sunday 3rd Nov free after 4pm (let me know which suits). Also got some weekdays but doubt many could make them. Location is the little city of Wells, 40 mins south of Bristol/Bath, and 25 mins from the M5 Weston-Super-Mare.

Just returned from this bake off. My Modwright made a pleasing contribution to the presentation. I have suggested not writing off the Emille yet but to try it with a quality interconnect first.

I really liked the Wilson Sophia's.

Thanks for your input and letting me try the Modwright Steve. It did just as expected and made the sound a halfway house between the valve Emille and solid state Krell pre-power. Now decided that the full Krell is too harsh, but the full valve (Emille) might make me miss that Krell power amp deep bass. Seems a valve pre is in order...but one last listen to the Emille first. Zingalis arriving this week (at last).

See if you can get a dem of some Rowland gear Carl. The 625 I've just bought has great power but is also delicate and refined. It's also extremely quiet.
