It's such a great shame that there are not enough pairs in existence for everyone.
:D to be fair the Kan 2 is a nicely sorted boundary design, retaining the subjective speed and coherence of the Mk1 without all that horrid sqwuarking and quacking. Though part of the reason it has subjectively good rhythm-bass definition is the near total lack of any real bass. Harmonics can sound funky ;)

Must say I did like FlatP's system at the Wig show last year.

I would rather have quality than quantity when it comes to bass (and most other things).

However using a speaker with very limited bass extension as a "probably the best" is a bit Carlisburg

The only small size, low bass trap that does not suck the life out of your room.

Easy to build and can be stacked and painted to resemble part of the wall.

I have a room very similar to yours and had to have the speakers 2 feet into the room so I moved the system to another wall and am happier with the result.
