£950 of your hard-earned by Paypal F&F or cash please.
Collection only, from NE Leicestershire (a couple of miles from Scalford if that means anything to you - it will to many!)
I'm now formalising my decision to sell "Uncle Peter's system" as shared in room 244 at the Wam Show; Avondale Quads and Thorens have gone to good Wam homes!
Suffice is to say that a fair few people were surprised by just how good this system sounded - far from what most expect from "vintage".
The speakers are in excellent condition though there is a bash to one front top corner. Did you notice at the show? No, neither did anyone else; if I was keeping these I'd probably install them upside down with no/minimal change to driver height but the corner is hardly eye-catching. Original grilles with badges and no snags.
They have been refoamed by Tannoy guru Frank Cookson @cooky1257 of this parish - done properly of course. He also oiled the teak cabinets. Uncle Peter had the clip terminals replaced by banana plugs. Come with original boxes, owner manual and original purchase receipts.
For an extra £50 I'll throw in the excellent stands I used at the show, mass-loaded and topped with world class audiophile Wilko bread boards for improved stability.
