Since I’ve refurbed a pair of Cheviots, these little gems are up for grabs.
I believe I’m the second owner - the first added a little sticker on the back as he lent them to a church at one point.
Drivers are in perfect nick, sound lovely. I replaced the capacitors and cleaned out the switches in the crossovers. Original capacitors are included in the sale in case you’d like to put them back.
I’ve sanded back and refinished the cabinets in three coats of clear Osmo polyx. Could have re-veneered them but this way you get the original teak brought back to life. There are a fair few knocks and chips at the corners but the face veneers have come up very nicely. Grill cloth is original and in pretty good state.
I’d be happy with £900. Available to demo and collect from London, E8. Also happy to box them up and hand them over to a courier organised by the buyer.
