Hi folks,
After having completed my system, it's now time to do something I always wanted. To have a vintage hi-fi system. Yes, I'm a sucker for those silver front technics and wood cabinets.
I'm really looking forward a SL-1500 , SL-1700 turntable. Does anybody recommend them? I guess that old technics tonearms are pretty good.
For the amplifier, I was thinking of a Technics SU-7600 It's a 40w amplifier and it's... pretty. It has a phono stage, but it must be cheesy. Will be plugging the pro-ject phono box in it.
More specifications here: http://www.vintagetechnics.com/integrated.htm
Oh well, opinions on the amp and in the turntable are appreciated.
Cheers,
Paulo
P.S: If any of you, has one of these lying around at home, step forward with a good price
