First of all, a massive thank you to everyone who attended this year's show!

This was my first show and there have been many jokes in the lead up to this weekend about me really struggling to understand just how something like this would actually work!(Oh does it work and it blows my mind just how nuts it is! It's great!!) It has been one massive learning experience and one I'm very pleased to have gone through. A special thanks to the gents who organised this year's show and held my hand through every step, I definitely have a much better understanding now!

It was amazing to finally meet you all and put some faces to the names! I really have a much better understanding of the passion involved with Hifi and seeing so many beaming smiles on peoples faces as they walked around made it all very worthwhile!

Some of you are aware of the hectic 12 months me and the family have had and again we owe a massive amount of gratitude for how welcoming everyone has been! Over the weekend I felt like I had always been a part of the Wam family and that really meant a lot to me.

I know it’s already been mentioned but the cogs are already spinning for 2023 and the only way is up! I can’t bloody wait for the next show and every inch of feedback, as always, is taken fully onboard to help make things better.

Again a massive thank you to everyone who made the 2022 show a reality! I’m going to return to icing my knee now :D

All the best!
Roo.

P.s. I’ll try not to plan an operation the same week as the show next year so I’ll help lug some kit about!

Nicely put Roo. I think I speak for all exhibitors in saying thankyou for your efforts in providing us with the vehicle that got us here. You've put a lot of work in too and it is appreciated.

Great to meet you and have a chat. Glad your mum is OK too.

Look forward to seeing your kit list for your up coming show debut 😆
There's a lovely system waiting to be enjoyed amongst the classifieds right now 😉

You and your mum are the best thing to happen to the wam since I completley buggered it up
when Anthony had it before he passed it on to PFP which was the worst thing to happen to the wam since I buggered it up:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

All is well that ends well as they say and the bulk of wammers are here for the long haul so bring it on👍

Oh yeah! And thank you and the team for all you do and have done😍😍

Was part of the mod team during that 1st transfer of ownership.
Can assure you Steve, you didn't bugger it up entirely on your own.

The twists & turns of the Wam since then couldnt possibly be made up.
We have Duvet (Danny) & mod team to thank for seizing the opportunity to rescue the forum.
And Roo & Rachel to thank for having the faith to give them their support.
Since that time the forum has seen constant improvement, increased membership, more traffic and a highly successful Stoke Show.
Great deal of unseen work has gone into making all this happen.

Finally a forum is nothing without its members.
It was heart-warming to see some old faces at Stoke who have stayed with The Wam through thick & thin.
Some of us were banned forever and our history totally wiped by PFP, so its great to be back in our spiritual home.

Takes a big man to say he buggered it up.
Steve, you had a great deal of provocation & encouragement to FOOBAR
So dont beat yourself up too much.

All the best to you & yours.

Thanks Steve you have summed the whole thing up perfectly and I agree with it all👌🏻I was one of PFP's banning victims myself but I don't give up that easy and at least the toss pot is no more and here we are enjoying a brilliant hifi forum again dispite PFP's attempt to ruin it.

The only regret I have is thinking I understood how this tinterweb thing works tbh it's all history and best left there methinks👍

Just wanted to add my own little bit of thanks for the efforts of our incredible admin team, to the chorus of praise from other members. A truly heroic effort to organise the show, and what a show it was! After the last few years of living in the doldrums through global crises, just to be able to have this big family get-together was enough in itself, but that so many exhibitors put so much effort into contributing meant that the whole thing, start to finish, was a triumph.

As a non-exhibitor I had a brilliant weekend. Enough has been said on other threads as to the quality of the systems on display so I won't go into specifics but I think I can safely say that ordinary commercial shows pale by comparison to the breadth, depth and sheer quality of what you all put together. So not only thanks to our wonderful admin team but to all of you who made the show such a huge success.

I love this place!!
