Just Googled these. Second photo to come up on Google images is the one in the advert. This would make me cautious.
eBay listings are discoverable on Google. If you type just about any search for something rare, you will see the latest available images. Who's to say these are not advertised in several places?

I feel the seller is being optimistic with both the price and performance descriptions, having heard both speakers the sellers has mentioned at great length I feel the cited % difference is some what greater!

However for Kef's they are pretty unique and deliver a mighty sound when driven with some quality watts, around 1/2Kw was a good start point.

The Maidstone 109's were circa £20k... The best they knew how to make. I happen to have a set of these tweeters in my KEF's and they are very very sweet.
