My minty G99 was collected today. Sold to an absolutely lovely guy who had dreamed of owning one since he was a young man. He now completes the set of his three dream decks.

Sorry to see it go but delighted it's gone to someone who'll appreciate it. He paid the asking price and collected as arranged by driving 200 miles for it too.

Geoff, it was a thing of beauty and sounded good too.

You enjoyed it while you had it, but the time was right to sell. The new owner is going to love it. A win for everyone. Nice one.

He loves it alright Brian; well he did with the OL Conqueror, Denon DL-S1 and the rest of my kit.

The time was right and there are no regrets. I'm just going to get a new armboard now and try that arm and cart on the big Sony TTS8000. Lots to look forward to!

He has forgiven me Simon.

I tried the OL on the Sony and it sounded great, really great tbh. Then I put the sme3009 and shure v15III back in and I loved that too. It feels like the Nak is more appreciative of a moving magnet input because there is no way that the latter combination should sound as good.

What is absolutely clear is that the TTS8000 in its Resinamic plinth is a truly great deck!
