It's CD3, alternate versions and extra b-sides and CD4, an unreleased concert, Live from Irvine Meadows, California, 12th September 1987, where the band played the entire album in sequence, that I'm mainly interested in.I have it on a two cassette set. It's great, mostly.
I always saw it as a compilation release, not as a studio album of new material. It's CD3, alternate versions and extra b-sides and CD4, an unreleased concert, Live from Irvine Meadows, California, 12th September 1987, where the band played the entire album in sequence, that I'm mainly interested in.
Strangely enough I was at the Bournemouth Pavilion last Thursday evening, at a Tubular Bells 50th Anni concert. The band (no-one I actually knew) played a medley of excerpts from some of his albums, followed by a few songs such as "To France", "Moonlight Shadow" etc. The second half of the concert was the full, original Tubular Bells album - it was amazing!
