The Listening Chair

I used to sit in the middle, visitors could sit either side of me. Gave the settee away when I moved, its replacement may be the Parker-Knoll chair that my Dad used to sit in, but that would mean having to get (and find positions for) other chairs for visitors. What seating arrangements do other wammers have?

I have a Stressless chair & footstool in prime position with 2 folding chairs for others to sit on. Considering how often others come to listen I decided to keep a huge settee was a bit pointless.

If another Wammer/music/hifi fan comes then they get the box seat and total control of music choice and volume & I sit on the folding chair either left or right of the box seat. It seems to work fine right now but the real test will be when I have a bake off next year when it may well be a case of the quick and the dead as to who gets the hot seat

I go Stressless, too. Its not a setup favourable for multiple listeners, unfortunately. Definitely best in the hot seat. 

Covered by the kitty is a 1.2m square of GIK 242 acoustic panels. They help a lot what with the chair being so close to the wall.

I have a Tetrad Eastwood sofa, feather filled cushions need a daily shake but I love it. Seats 4 at a push.

Worn leather sofa, annoyingly slightly offset due to cupboard access at far end, but it seats 3, but only 1 in prime position...

OT: Do I see a Swedish LM Ericsson Ericofon on the right spekaker?  In Sweden it is named Kobra (cobra) which in my opinion telling a lot about the shape.

Yep, that's the one... Lovely phone, and the SQ of old 'analogue' phones is so much better than the modern digital stuff.!
