I've not posted here in ages, so I thought I'd just give you a small update.

The Marco boy no longer uses Naim gear

Yep, it's all sold, gone, adios amigos...

What's the numpty using now, I hear you ask?

Croft Charisma 'X-spec' valve preampwith (all-valve)MM phono stage.

AMPLIFICATION (POWER AMP)

ECS EA-1 200W monoblocks.

LOUDSPEAKERS

Spendor SP100 in Rosewood finish.

WANKY WIRES (MAINS LEADS)

Transparent Power Link Plus/MusicWorks+/MusicWorks STD

Micromega transport & DAC on stainless steel 6-tier rack with Reference Top @ Phase 10 (Ref Top, rack, and 8xSoundstages).

All other gear on stainless steel 6-tier rack @ Phase 9.

Spendor SP100 on Phase 6 (custom-made stands & 5xSoundbases per side).

I'm very pleased with the system. It sounds a bit differentfrom the Naim gear - kinda more relaxed sounding but just as musically absorbing. The plan is still to get you guys down later in the year for a sesh, so you check it out yourself
