SOLD Thorens TCD 2000 CD Player

Bit of a story with this one!

I posted a wanted ad and someone was kind enough to get in touch.

There was a problem with the lid which meant that every now and then, it got confused when opening and went up and down a few times.

I purchased the CD player and had it sent directly to be repaired. My guy gave it a service and repaired the lid problem.

Since then, having used it quite a few days, I have seen it happen twice so while it's vastly improved, there's still the odd occasion when it opens, closes a little then opens in full.

Not a huge issue by any means and playback is faultless (sounds superb).

I'm selling for what I ended up paying for the deal

£325 collected from CB11 or postage at cost. Demo welcome

I purchased for £225 plus the £100 I spent on a service (invoice will be included).

It's rare to find these under £800.

Reason for selling is a got a great deal on a Sony 777ES SACD player.
