This is a genuinely regrettable sale. I won't bore you with the details, there's no tragedy here or anything, but I'm in a position where I need the funds. Whatever, it's only Hi Fi
lt's in beautiful condition and comes with a bespoke flight case. Collection from Notts or buyer to arrange courier.

The Genelex 300B were bought by myself new from Hot Rox and haven't seen much use. These retail at close to bonkers now !

Hi Jatinder, GT advised me it's eight years old (I spoke to him before I bought it), don't know the gain and I've just lifted the amp up from the case and there's no serial no on the rear. If it's underneath I'm really sorry but I'm unable to lift it out as my back is not good right now and it's 27kg. Really sorry !

Hi according to specs the 808s are 91db and 8ohm impedance and so should work well with the 9w Tron depending on the size of your room and how loud you like to play.

I am listening to an 8w Audion 300b that I bought from Ian and listening with 91db Snells and in my 6x4m lounge goes plenty loud enough - full blast would be too loud.

Title just amended, I've just checked the receipt for this and it's a Signature ! A friend has an email from GT with current prices, the standard is £8500 and the Signature is £9500.
42 percent of RRP.

Yup! You’ll have no problem getting a decent sound in your room. If I don’t already have a TRON Voyager, I would have snapped this up.

Thanks for this Doc, I'm getting a handful of enquiries asking about pre amps and speakers to suit the Tron but I'm reluctant to have a punt on advising as my system experience with this amp is very limited.
Anyone with any such queries, do feel free to post here, there's always a wealth of experience.

And also, I've had a couple of offers. In the nicest possible way I'd like to stick to the asking. I appreciate I'm in for a bit of a wait as even at this proportion of RRP it's not small beer.
I'm confident this will shift, and I'm not going to bump it frequently as folk will get sick of seeing it !
