VTL Pre TL2.5 and Power ST-150 combo

Any thoughts or even better, experience on a VTL combo of TL2.5 pre and ST-150 power generally and also when paired with Quads ESL63 (or other Quad ESL)
Looking for get valve overall sound but also solid, tight bass
Listen to all genres, small-med room from a single seat in an almost near field equilateral triangle.

I have subwoofer for <80Hz and a Vincent SV237MK hybrid integrated in situ which is really great - but the hankering for tubes remains!

Answering my own thread, I know but….
Above VTL’s are now in situ and sound absolutely stunning, a total step change from previous Primaluna - very happy 😎😁

I'm sorry you've got no replies - I've only just noticed this thread.

VTL sounded fantastic when I heard them driving some highend Focals (a 4 stack dCS was the source).

They sounded powerful and dynamic, with very controlled bass.....indeed I would describe the sound as stunning.
