Apologies for posting a little late. I thought long and hard what album to post. I considered both Jazz and Metal but in the end went with more accessible album.

Chris Cornell is my favourite Rock vocalist of all time. This is his debut solo album. Post Soundgarden, post Down On the Upside. More mellow than most Soundgarden. Lovely production and superb song writing. Chris was nominated to a Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Performance and somehow was beaten by Lenny Kravitz 🤔

Hope you enjoy

Temple of the Dog is another one of my all time favourites.

Thanks for adding the poll, Barry.

Good album this , only problem I've got at the moment is I keep waiting for him to sing Blackhole sun won't you come in nearly every song , further listening will probably cure this .

Tremendous voice but I found most of the material just a bit ordinary and my concentration wandered. Overall it just seems a conglomeration of American AOR but not individual enough to give it that spark for me.

Nothing to really criticise here (other than being quite boring), but absolutely nothing that stands out / to recommend.

Very safe, standard, sort of middle of the road Grandad rock'ish.

Doesn't offend but that's about it, really.
