U2 - Their latest album, 'Songs Of Surrender'. I'm really liking this. Not simply a lazy rehash of old songs as it may seem on first examination. No, it's a reflective look at their lives, resulting in a change of lyrics in some parts. Bono's voice is right upfront and highlighted and very much exposed, warts and all. The tenderness of certain songs, which was more hidden on the full band versions, really comes through here. Being at the age myself where I have been through quite a lot of reflection, I get this album.
