I have a pair of 782's laying under my son's bed unused for nearly 4 years.

Now i've plenty of time on my hands and need a project to help keep the

grey matter working.

What's your thoughts on trying to improve them.

Replace crossover components for better ones?

Play around with damping?

I have already made a set of out riggers to give better stabilization.

Your ideas and addresses of component suppliers would be welcome.

Had a quick google - cant be 100% as I dont know exactly which model/gen of the 782s you have but it says they are already side to side braced so not sure adding damping will help the cabinets - if you are bored you can always try though especially as it isnt expensive:

I would go for upgrading the caps personally. Try some of these:

Also, dont foget to spend lots of time trying various positioning of the speakers themselves:

Distance from rear wall

Distance from side wall

Toe in

etc.

Have fun!
