What's a Linn Axis worth?

A friend of a friend is getting rid of some of his kit - managed to put prices to most of it for them, but the thing that has me scratching my head is a Linn Axis turntable, mint, in box, if it's played 10 albums I'd be surprised. Any ideas of what the chap should be asking for it? It's annoying me as I was looking for a turntable and can't afford to look at buying ANYTHING at the moment

I sold mine (Akito version) a few years ago for £200.

If it helps, I bought an Axis with a LinnBasik Plus arm in really great condition - almost mint - for a bit more than £200 - about 3 years back.

I think the Axis is a great value for money TT - a bit undervalued compared to the prices LP12s go for
