Answered Why does the notification bell work differently now?

Before, if I clicked on the notification bell at top right, it would open a list on the right side of the page. Now one click doesn't do that and two clicks opens the list in long form across the page.

Working ok for me , I've got some different issues , little boxes instead of the bell etc . @Roo has been notified .

It seems to work as it used to when I've selected something from the main page but on the main page it doesn't.

Things are working fine at my end so I need some examples of what's happening.

When on the main forum page, one click does nothing, then a second click opens the list like this.

When I'm past the main page, eg in a thread, it opens with one click on the right, as a list, as it always has.

double clicking should take you to that page.

are you syaing this is only happening on the forum homepage and not on any other page?

what browser are you using?

It's all working ok now. Must have been a programmer's worst occurrence - a temporary glitch.

Haha, I should have replied but probably got distracted by something else. I think it was a simple caching error. These things are usually really hard to solve, I'f I can't re create the issue locally on my machines It's hard to fix them. So I just did some usual resets/ checked some code but all seemed ok, Can only presume the cache clearing did the job.
