Question Xbox 360 any good uses for HiFi

At the charity shop where I volunteer, we often get Xbox 360 in for sale. My role is to PAT test them and functional test. Typically, these sell for £25 to £30. As a volunteer I get 50% discount. Is there any good HiFi uses for these ?

IIRC they upscale the audio output to 48k.

They sound ok but they're not for 'serious' hifi use. OK for a bedroom system where quality isn't too important.

At that price probably worth trying, but you'll need a screen - but you knew that.

Get the original Mass Effect games and have some fun.

ps. I think it only outputs DTS rather than PCM. It didnt work with my Beresford dac. I used a cable with rca leads on it.

You could use one under the foot of a wobbly rack to stabilise it.
