I bought these late last year as a back-up pair for my main NS1000M's but not only are they now taking up valuable floor space, if I catch my foot on them once more, they're likely to end up as expensive firewood.

These were purchased from a chap who had stripped them down externally and attempted his first speaker restoration during the first lockdown. They are nice and square, but some of the edge veneer is peeling and there are some fade marks to the side of one speaker. But when I installed them into my main system, the defects are not visible. Spring clips were replaced by me for third party banana plug terminal binding posts, sourced from the US of A... and I've also replaced all of the tweeter/mid/bass driver screws with stainless steel socket type fastenings... Nothing was changed internally, so crossovers and all components are unchanged.

Sound wise, they're identical to the pair I'm keeping and use as my day-to-day speaker. They do everything the NS1000M is fabled to do, other speakers have come and gone, but the original NS1000M's are here to stay. Indeed, I've only just struggled to get this pair out of my main system and replaced them with my black originals... so here they are basking in the mid-June sunshine this morning...

So... these can be yours for £1000... but as they weight around 35kgs each and I have no safe was to transport them, they are strictly collection only. I'm located near Jct 6 or Jct7 of the M25 and as I work from home, midweek collection is possible. WAM taxi friendly too, albeit, having been laid up with a back injury (not helped by having to shift the buggers again today) you'll need to be fit and healthy to collect them. I have a trolly (with supermarket trolly feet) so some movement is possible without putting your back out... but they'll be worth the effort :)

Any questions via PM and thanks for looking...
Pete

Not a premature bump, honest guv... but its just been brought to my attention by a kind Wammer that I may have suggested these were tinkered with internally... so I'm pleased to be able to assure you all that the previous owner only worked on the cabinet and that everything inside is untouched and original...

As you were :)

Good luck with the sale Pete.

If my Jantzens dont sell before the 1st July and yours do, then there's potential transport to points north in the Mondeo estate .
(Reference Wam Taxi 1/2/3/4 July in Classifieds..)
