In the (2?) Usher models I've heard the diamond tweeters tend to be set on the overbright and feisty side for me.
I couldn't live with the ones I've heard.

Johns run with his ikon monos through all his pre amps Master sound / baby reference etc where brilliant but use bright electronics yuk

The cheaper ones with soft domes I used to own have a nice warm balance, and my Be Tiny Dancers are a nice middle ground I find.

There’s a pair of BE20s near me going for £3500. Yes that’s not a mistake. Where I am the second hand market for Asian-made audio is weak. And they’re also in the brighter redwood not the lovely walnut.

the Ushers I had before (beryllium tweeters) had superb scale but lacked midrange detail, so not sure if these would be the same.
