Moulin Rouge - if i hadn't been sat in the centre of a crowded cinema i would have walked out.

Using song lyrics as dialogue is clever the first time, a bit annoying by the third time and downright bloody lazy by the seventh time.

Utter, utter drivel, marginally rescued by Ms Kidman in stockings!

CJ, I think you are one yours own.

I also like Zoolander.
House of Flying Daggers was OK for what it was, but Zhang Yimou has really sold out to commercialism compared with his earlier work. Maybe this is a trend in Chinese cinema. If so, it's not a good one.
Jesse I also loved Daggers. Zoolander shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhite !!!

I actually prefer the story of Hero better than Daggers. But compared to Zoolander, Id watch Daggers 20 times back to back than 10 minutes of that Ben Stiller Pap.

Oh no, I'll not have that now.The Death Wish films were different; special.

Take them very tongue in cheek and enjoy the nonsense.

In fact, the Death Wish 2 film had a buyable soundtrack by Jimmy Page. Injector ordered it after our discussion in a thread on the movie. I started it as it was being broadcast. D.W.II doesn't half make me laugh !

Can't agree with you I afriad.

The trouble is Winner meant it seriously! :shock:And the only thing special about the D W films is their nasty crapiness...

You should have known better.

That film looked, sounded and indeed was shite. The name gives it away!

How dare slag off the X-men

X-Men was decent, X-men 2 was excellent, X-men 3 - merely ok but has Vinnie Jones in so giveit an extra +

I suppose if you not a fan of the comics then these films possibly are total cack - but I loved the X-men as a 10 year old and I refuse to grow up.

I endured The Brothers Grimm at the weekend. Looks like a movie that was half written and half planned when it went into production. And then got cut to pieces in editing.

Will Terry Gilliam be allowed to make another movie? Hope not.

A couple stand out, though there will probably be more (although I normally turn them off pretty soon) these are two I sat right through in stunned silence at how bad they were....

Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles - Hogan looking as old and wrinkly as Victor Meldrew clearly too old to do any stunts or even fast movements anymore, no storyline, utterly dreadful

Assault on Precinct 13 (Remake 2005) - Gratuitous swearing for no apparent reason (literally at one point it sounds like fu*k is every second word), boring, poorly acted and didn't hold my attention - utter dog turd

I watched Flightplan last night: what an implausible pile of steaming
If aeroplanes really had that much empty space on board, the airlines would bung in another 50 seats, FFS!
