I have now seen at least two responses in threads that have pretty obviously been generated by ChatGPT or similar. It’s a bit creepy to be honest, like a peek into brave new worlds.

This is obviously the tip of a pretty big iceberg, but any thoughts as to how the Forum should respond at this stage?Do we call it out directly in the thread or use the Report Post function? Perhaps the AUP needs updating?

Report please. There's nothing to stop people making appropriate posts, but we (the mods) can't read every thread constantly.

Of course, bear in mind the old saying about assumptions. There are many people posting whose English is not necessarily right up there with Shakespeare and the like.
