SOLD Alpair 10.3M - Pair

A pair of used Alpair 10.3M drivers. These are in working order & have been the mid/top driver for my lounge system for a few years; this morning they have been evicted in favour of a pair of Tannoy 8" DC's (see my thread in DIY). Both drivers have slight marking/creasing on the cones (see pics) but as the saying goes, this doesn't affect how they sound.

Priced for a quick sale at £60 the pair including UK postage from the sunny Isle of Mull. Local collection is of course possible!

That's cheap as chips Tony, and surely there must be some one thinking 'shall I have a go?'
I have Mark Audio Pensils that I came by in a roundabout way...

My good mate Speedracer was looking for a pair of speakers and I recommended these DIY Pensils with Mark Audio drivers.

Our fellow wammer Wizmax drove the two of them to somewhere like Yeovil and brought them back.

Too big!

Feeling a tad guilty I offerred to take them off his hands for similar money and they have been singing away on the end of a Transcendent Minibeast power amp ever since. So that's a transformerless power amp driving a speaker with no xover! Sounds good to my ears and its what this style of hifi is all about - lack of veils.

And it can be done so cheaply...

Tony J appears to live in the back of beyond but does the Wam Show so there's a possibility of collection there. (I can bring them further south if necessary.)

Ive met Tony and I love his inventiveness and derring do.

This could be the start of a descent into the world of DIY for someone..

If these are still available, what's the possibility you could ship to San Diego, California? What would that cost? I build a pair of towers with the 10.2's and really like them. Been thing of building another small set. Thanks!
