I think they're unattractive for 12k speakers when you think what else is out there for this money. Did you see his courier charge for outside UK? He obviously can't be arsed to ship them abroad but may miss out on a sale because of that. Or is that a normal rate?

They do come packed in a wooden crate but that's no excuse for that charge, obviuosly doesn't want to ship abroad.

Visually may not be to everyones taste but are the best/most uncoloured pair of speakers I've heard to date.

Turn it up, you may revise that statement when you have heard them

$50 is pretty fair actually as each speaker is 60kg PLUS the Crates which are custom for the BHII's. built with3 inch mdf they weigh as much as the speakers.

Seeing them in flesh is a different matter

Funny thing is as well, but speakers are often better off in foam and double cardboard boxes, crates are too rigid and if dropped can damage speaker

Sorry Chris missed that bit,

$620 to ship outsise the UK, Jeez thats rude

, I only paid $420 (Us) shipped from LA!!!! 3 days air frieght

Also remember there is NOT VAT on shipped items outside the EU

Paul, the crates are seriously well foamed inside sir.

don't deny it Tony, but the'd still be better off in sturdy boxes, specially given their weight, usually requires forklift, they can and do fall, crate will split, and speaker will get damaged, wasn't a dig at ML particulalry

Hi, I was referring to the £620 worldwide shipping charge, not the £50 UK one. Bit steep?

I would love to hear them but I still think there are better looking speakers for this money. With speakers the aesthetics are very important with me. More so than with other components.

Cheers,

Gary.

When I received my ML (Delivered by anonymous white van:shock:

) it was evident that one had been dropped on top corner

but speaker remained untouched. Few!

Tony, have you tinkered with your ML's yet?
