Paypal doesn't accept the seller though. E.g. if the card is stolen, paypal go into your bank and take the money back. They are allowed to do it, you agreed to it when signing up to their T&Cs.

Plus they take a slice of the pie for nowt

eBay is great for selling, so long as you watch out for Nigerians with large cheques! IMO not quite so good for buying these days. However, when selling something expensive you must monitor the last few minutes of your auction, you will at least have a chance to remove suspect bids, i.e., bidders with 0 feedback who spring up from nowhere, to avoid them screwing up the auction.

Then I hope the buyer hasn't paid. Look at the bidding activity, bidder 8 had bid lots, yet has 0 feedback and a member less than a week, and has also bid on other items where the seller has 0 feedback. SCAM - NO MISTAKE.

The one discussed here for example for the Krell amp, it took me about 10 seconds to find that the pics and description were nicked from a sale on eBay USA.

I sent a message to eBay yesterday asking them to look into this listing.

It ended today of course, so I wrote a warning message to the winning bidder to pay by cash on collection ONLY for this item but eBay in it's wisdom has blocked the message.

Doesn't it make you MAD!!!!
