I am demming this tonight - but wondered if any Wammers had any experience with it?

Going for £1850 - rrp is £4.5k.

I know Duvet has heard the reference 1 box player 001 (nearly 10K new I believe) which he personally did not like. I'm sure he will expand on the reasons.

i've heard the complete burmester range three times into different speakers and every time i've been utterly underwhelmed by them. to me they suck all life out of music, brilliant if you want to hear the second violinist slightly to the right of the first but totally lacking in any involvement or passion.

BTW - it's got digi output and 2 co-ax digi inputs, so I should be able to insert my (still on order) Behringer Room Correction widget in the "digital tape loop".

Now that could be interesting !

For us the Burmester equipment is much in the same vien as the MBL kit, as it sounds much better when its Outside an all its own make system (imho)
