Class bookshelf design. Good nick. Wonderful treble - extended but smooth. These were £1k 25 years ago - they are solidly built speaker with a really balanced response and excellent bass. Crazy value at £250 collected.

I used to use my A1's as my main pair before moving them with the TV. Been using since 98 and still fantastic sounding and built speakers. That price is a bargain for someone.

Yes. I have had them for a good while. They are superb but I am down to one listening room and it currently contains four pairs of speakers, four amps, five streamers, a turntable, four DACs, a record cleaning machine, two tonearms, multiple cartridges, and a load of CDs and vinyl....

They really are a high-end bargain, IMO.

Depth measure is with grilles, approximately 10mm to be taken off for depth without grilles.
