Floor standing speakers with speed, attack and coherence please

Hi. Can you suggest a floorstanding speaker which has good coherence and phase accurate along with speed and attack please? Budget up to 2K and will consider kits.

The vast majority of floor standers use small diameter long excursion ported woofers and so lack speed,attack and coherence.
I suggest buying a pair of refurbished Gale 401s which are not floor standers but which have the traits you are looking for[in spades].

I would whole heartedly recommend pmc. Iam a big bass head, and listen to a lot of fast paced EDM, electropunk and trance. Paired with high power class D amplification, my pmc twenty 26, are really fast paced and extremely rythamic. Pair them with naim, and this make a fast foot tapping combination.

Mated to a £200 Rel Strata 3 available on eBay, a pair of 1.7i would complete with VERY expensive speakers.

Nothing at £2k using cone and box design would come close.

What about ATC SCM40s, might get a pair of Mk 1s for a couple of grand or bit over.

They’re sealed box design, so bass is nice n tight.

40 watt push pull integrated valve amp, Innuos Zen mini with separate DAC.I have liked all sorts of speakers in the past. Role audio and NSMT have been amongst the best.

I would ignore most of the recommendations so far based on your latest info.
If floorstanders, small and efficient such as some PROAC but I’d go standmount. How they perform will be purely based on the room set up and furniture. A photo of the area where the speakers will go will help.
