Fancy a dabble with active speakers again. Preferably the raw finish.

I'm a recent owner of a pair of 8020C and now 8040B. I have to say they're fantastic speakers and I loved the 8020 so much I went straight out and bought a second hand pair of 8040. Not sure if you're hearts set on the 8030 and I dont know your room size but having heard most of this range I found the 8040 to be the sweet spot for size, sound, bass response and price. Thanks. I’m looking for those models specifically as much due to the fact I have raw-finish SolidSteel stands which I want to use. I’ve a big bad-ass SVS sub to fill in the bottom octave or two..,
