I Need Help On Roku TV Remote

Hello friends. Hello friends. I can't use my Roku TV Remote. I don't understand if there is a problem with the remote or if I am doing something wrong. Can anyone help me with this? Any help will be appreciated.

There is lots of information on the web but this may help.

To reset your Roku remote, you need to take out the batteries, unplug your Roku device and plug it back in, replace the batteries, and hold down the reset button until the remote re-pairs. ... When you see the Roku home screen on your TV, insert the batteries back in the remote.

Thanks for helping me. You are right. But the remote was not paired with the device automatically. Then I found this article after searching on Google yesterday. I solved the problem by using the few steps mentioned there.  I just manually paired the Roku Remote, the issue was fixed.
