I try at least twice a day to get onto this forum and today I was successful! This forum is different to the other hifi forums so I hope someone somewhere will get their arse into gear and get it sorted...

I have only been on there for a week and its very very quiet. Have been off the Wam and Maverick for 6 weeks because I was on holiday so really not up to speed with what is happening where.

Was looking at some different kit over the weekend and time and time again the searxg came up with The Wam as the place to find the info I wanted. Did not know about the logn/ot trick. Will be such awaste if all this brilliant info is lost. Very sad.

I think Discord is just so much easier now. I signed up a few months back, had a cpl of weeks here then just didn't get round to opening the link in my browser for a few months. Just a suggestion cos this place is great but it's not exactly passive.

I don't believe there is one universal optimal length. 2.48m is as arbitrary as 42 being, "The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything". I hate to disappoint the narcissistic Swede and his staff and followers (though one of his crew is eminently sensible).
