Anyone help with a problem with the above amp? Just gave my system its New Year clean and on powering up, I have no sound from any source. The amp and cd player (a CD17mk2 KI) is left powered up permanently most of the time, except when cleaning of course (not very often!). I have removed the top to see if anything was obvious but the only thing I noticed was that when I powered it up there is no audible click from what I presume is the protection circuits? I say not audible but there is still a click, but it is very quiet and not as loud as I am sure it was.
I Want to send it for repair but I am a bit short after the excesses of Christmas and get the feeling that I won't be too impressed with the repair bill. I am also no whizz with electronics, just wondered if there is a common cause to this?
