This is my second MA-3 but now I've reached the age of 3 score year & 10 I think I need to acknowledge that 40 years of working in the music biz hasn't done my hearing any favours and that I'm finding it harder to really hear the differences between top flight gear and the next level (or 2 down). Also I seem to be playing a lot more vinyl again so the MA-3 is sitting rather forlornly and not being used as much as it should be!
I purchased the MA-3 4 months ago ex-dem from AudioVenue in Ealing and it comes with over 2.5 years of remaining warranty. The MA-3 really is at the same level (maybe higher) than the DCS Bartok - some would describe the MA-3 as more analogue sounding/ musical. It's boxed, excellent condition etc. Shipping in the UK would be very expensive (around £160 fully insured) so collection (nr Canterbury) or around M25 area is preferred. Current retail price is £9750, I'm looking for £7250 ono. Will consider a p/x + "cash" for a good quality DAC or Streamer/ DAC.
