Although I didn't have a S6 to compare to I feel sure an S6 is better - I'm basing that on hearing the S6 a number of times in unfamiliar systems. So take that with a pinch of salt.

An interesting comparison would be with the AN-S4. I don't know the price of an S4 though. I don't know what the RRP is for the CFz but that eBay price seems good.

The S6 has silver wound transformers and would be distinctly different from the CFz. As Mark said the comparison that would be interesting would be with the AN S4 or indeed the AN S5

Hmmmm- very tempting. I don't have a turntable but this seems a pretty cheap entry into the exclusive Kondo club and would also then mean I could legitimately hang with all the really cool people on here.

It's that last bit that puts me off.

I'd be careful, that SUT of yours is as good as any of the ANUK copper ones that I've heard it against, and that includes an S5
