For Sale Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista 21 DAC JS Audio Upgraded

Time for someone else to own this lovely DAC. I bought in October from the WAM so would love for it to stay in the WAM family! I’m only selling as I now need a DAC with HDMI ARC due to a config change.
Forgive me if I paste the original listing detail below and use a few of the original photos of the internals to save me taking the same photos again, and re-wording what has already been written. Suffice to say the DAC sounds great and is still in great condition.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I am asking for £800 and would prefer collection from Brighton, or to use the WAM taxi please. Although let me know if you can’t do either - I’m sure we can come up with a solution.

Told myself I'd never sell this but since moving to a one box solution I can't see it ever being brought back into service.



Fabulous bit of kit made all that much better by the magic touch of John Sampson. Originally sent to him as the auto sense input failed so whilst it was there I also opted for his upgrade (total cost was £750 iirc). Had never experienced burn in before but my God I did with this. After a week of "oh no, what have a I done?" it suddenly just sounded sublime.



A few years later the auto sense failed again so I sent it back to John to get the sensor beefed up. As I was so impressed with the earlier upgrade I enquired on further improvements and £500 later it came back to me even better (I also added Sound Coat panel dampening). I never got a certificate for the second round of changes but John keeps a record so I'm sure would be able to find the details if required.



I think I've babbled on enough so let's get down to the nitty gritty!!



I'd like £800 collected from either Halifax or Oswestry Brighton. I have original packaging but as can be seen it's a little tatty from its travels so for now would prefer collection.
