As title say. My left channel suddenly died on my vintage pioneer 9500ii this morning.

Checked both speaker channels A/B and same issue.

The amp can switch between stereo / L/R/L+R
When in L+R mode there's sound from both speakers but I guess yhus is the right channel being sent to both speakers.
I'll take the case off this afternoon and see if one of the fuses has blown otherwise uts above my skill set

Any ideas would be very appreciated

Stew

nice, but was there a reason for the fuse blowing to start with?
I think there was some speaker cable experimentation going on and the amp didn't care for it. It is also possible that a fuse was 'on the way out' and fiddling about was the last straw. Far be it from me to denigrate the OP but some ham-fistedness may have also been involved...... It's easy to forget to power down etc. Utter conjecture on my part so please ignore !
