Bargain, I have one and they punch well above their cost.
I am not sure and I am on hols in Cyprus.I know Colin designed many amplifiers, including single ended class A amplifiers. Mine seems to be push pull. I've seen pictures of ID25 that are PP and SE online, do you nnow if yours is SE or PP ?

Thanks,The three ID amps I have owned were PP, with either the little Dirk Boards like yours, or ones marked ID25 a/b.
This might be a 50 though.
These pics are the three amps I've owned (still got the bottom one)
Thanks,

I think the op's amp might be a 50, but Colin is the man to ask
There was two versions of the ID25, Paul Miller and I decided after a show in London about 30yrs ago when he was demonstrating class of amps using the Dirk PCB's as it was possible to be able set it to A, A/B or just B the version set in A was more dynamic. But we tried it on the ID50 and ID75 and single ended was far superior .
Now a few week ago I had one ID25 (Dirk) here to upgrade by my musician friend Saul. I upgraded the FET,s from 8Amp at 1.8R devices to 28Amp and 10mR RDsOn type and replaced all the small caps and the input cap to polycarb.
The beast gave 75W RMS into 8R and 150W into 4R both channels, and a single channel into 2R was 300W, the BW was 1Hz - 250KHz flat at full power into 8R.
I also use these FET,s on the Claymore upgrades, OK they are not cheap but by heck they are worth it.
OH I also took the Mica insulator out and replaced them with some nice ceramic time sent to me by my buddy Quickie, thanks Paul much better than the ticker one I have.
How is the weather?I am not sure and I am on hols in Cyprus.
