In the office - the sound of silence. My office is next door to the MD's and he likes to work in a quiet atmosphere.

When I'm mobile (not so much anymore) it a Seat/Volkswagon CD/Radio, normally tuned into XFM. For some reason I don't like CD's in the car.

Supercapman.

It sounds like you have an aftermarket stereos put in but no consideration was paid to the ignition wire. I have done the same thing. Pull it out and there should be a red and a yellow power wire, try swapping them around in terms of how they connect to your Van ( a lot of stereos have the red and yellow and pull apart connectors.

This should then allow your stereo to 'remember'

Well, if i'm working at home it's as listed in my sig. Onsite I plug in a 120GB USB hard drive full of FLAC rips and a Creative SoundBlaster 24bit USB soundcard. I listen to this lot through some Sennheiser PX100's. All this kit fits neatly into my rucksack and sounds pretty good too

Sony MZR-NH600 MiniDisc portable and Sennheiser PX-100s. Sounds sublime! MDs are recorded on the lovely MDS-JB980 at home from a range of sources.

Depends where im working, but on the whole I prefer to listen to radio when at work. That means in the office its down to internet radio or a site like last fm... I only have it on 25% to 50% of the day at most though. If I had music on all day 24/7 then Im not sure id be able to relax as much to tunes at home.

When I'm out and about I use a Creative Zen Touch loaded with WAV files (uncompressed) and a pair of Sony MDR-EX71 in-ear phones.

Currently it seems to be an 840A, 640Cv2, DAB500 and 640H the latter two being plugged into an S700 "tea tray" DAC. Speakers are 4x MS906's that provide covering sound for the office area. We generally cannot agree on what to listen to so Radio 6 generally wins out.
