I've been listening to my new speaks and enjoying them muchly. They interact with the room a lot less than people make out

they seemed a little bass light after the PMC's but sounded fuller (more midbass I guess).

That was until I put on Take California by the propeller heads.

I nearly shat my pants, bass at room shakking levels never once getting out of control. I guess this is what people mean by dynamics becasue when it kicked in it was a sudden and violent explosion of funk

Bloody typical mate. I'm jammed up work wise (Vienna and Amsterdam) for the next couple of weeks. Will try and make out i have some Christmas shopping to do in Orpington .

Though not as classy, the transition from the GB1s/Neats to the Triangles had a similar effect :Coool:

When my brother popped-round with some of his scratchy old blues CDs, he eventually commented "my Quads have more bass"...

So I popped-on one of the Orb's bassier efforts and cranked the volume:

We found his spleen on top of a cupboard and his liver down the back of the sofa...

Expect some sleepless nights for the next few weeks :dude:

I tried the PMC FB1's recently and they just dont seem to have any punch IMO.

Thats probably what you are hearing now.
