Purchased from new on 18 August 2017 from the company above for £599.45 including 10AIEC to 4way UK Gang Socket with Neon. Invoice available and original packaging. Had very little use indeed. Genuine reason for sale which I am happy to explain if required.

Extension lead (eg 4 way) has an iec14 on 3 pin plug end which goes into socket in PI. PI is plugged into mains with a kettle lead, and feeds cleaned up power to kit via extension leads.

I use one of these and I reckon it makes a worthwhile improvement to the sound quality; I ran without it for a while recently and noticed a marked beneficial difference when I put it back in the system.

You need to check your power requirements against the unit specs. The 1500 version is quite meaty.
I use mine for my pre, power, DAC and streamer.

Lurch brought his AG500 over to mine last year for me to try.

Initially I plugged my sources and LS26 pre in to the AG500 and there was a small difference in SQ but probably not enough to justify the cost of the unit, but I found the biggest difference was when I additionally plugged in my Quad ESL989's. The increase in audible detail was obvious and instruments just seemed to find their own space within the mix.

Needless to say I bought a used unit on eBay and on receiving it was very pleased to discover that the unit was in fact an AG1500 even though it had been advertised as an AG500 so just for good measure I plugged my 845 mono blocks as well although I am not sure that it made much difference to the 845s and overall SQ, but even then with all of the equipment being fed from the AG1500 the display on the unit showed that I was only using 35% of the available output from the re-generator.

My AG1500S, with ALL mains powered kit listed in my wam details Inc the 989s shows its only running at 39% capacity (will run upto 1.5Kw) so unless you have some offensively powerful or power hungry amps all should be good.
