Screw speaker cable connectors

Is there such a connector that takes a 4mm banana cable that I can screw into the chassis of a vintage amplifier and replace the little screws that you can just about fit bell wire round . Never mind 79 strand without things touching !!!!!

Sí señor, spades are the right tool for the job here.

One can buy the spades by themselves or cables that come with them like this:

You could use spades.
Those threaded inserts are easily removed though, leaving you with a hole (that may just need widening).
So you could easily fit terminal posts.
If I was doing it, I'd check there was enough clearance behind, then fit these 4mm sockets:

They do these on eBay.
I've used them with various old amps and speakers and to convert older screw type earth posts to banana for tt arm earth's.

These are for playing about with my many vintage amps in the mancave where I swap and change things on a regular basis , lots of different cables etc .. much easier with bananas

Those adaptors will work, but be VERY careful installing them and aligning them, as they're very easy to move and if they sort out by touching, it's amp repair time. If you're handy, you could slip a bit of heatshrink over part of them, to avoid any oopsies.
