Brilliant day! Many thanks to Tim and Kate, and to everyone there.

Had a good time playing in the 2nd room with Bluetooth link from Tim's (onlyconnect) PC to my DAC, then with my CD player and Ian's lovely DDDAC and Harbs.. Will have to try MQA/CD comparisons in a quieter setting though.

The food!!... wow. I'm sure that someone will post pics.

Thanks to Tim, Kate and Jack for another excellent day. We had a good time in the 2nd room with lots of digital bits and pieces. Amp-wise, Des's Hypex-based amp was sounding very nice indeed at the end of the day as did Edd's Quad 405 clone before it became poorly. Nick's Emile was sounding lovely until we tried to turn the volume up - sadly 18 watts doesn't drive 83.5db speakers very well!

The 405 clone is dead, blown channel, poor thing. Glad it had speaker protection built in

It shall live again at some point.
